For the longest time my favorite movie was STAND BY ME, followed closely by THE OUTSIDERS. Then out of no where MEAN CREEK comes in and I’m having trouble not putting it in the top spot. It takes the elements of the first two movies and combines them in a beautifully tragic way. As of this post you can check it out on the Netflix.
